NHS Obesity Surgery "On the rise"

Figures released yesterday show that NHS Obesity Operations rose by 40% last year. This ties in with members experience - we are seeing more and more people coming through the NHS system. Some parts of the country have improved the referral and contract issues for managing operations, though in other parts it remains poor. Many members still report examples of a "postcode lottery."
